This was a weekend programming project. Enjoy a competitive game of find-that-star or simply hang out and star gaze with friends! See if you can spot Orion, the Pleiades, Sirius, Arcturus, and many other stars in this star map! This is a demo of a module I developed. Here are visualized the approximate locations and visual magnitudes of about 9000 stars (from the Yale BCS5 - Bright Star Catalog 5). Things are not to scale. I hope you enjoy!
